Pierneef Google Doodle
This illustration brief called for the design of a Google Doodle. The doodle needed to be reminiscent of anything South African, be it an event, artist or cultural idea. For my Google Doodle inspiration I chose Jakobus Pierneef.
The illustration features the word "Google" being formed out of great, rocky mountains behind a foreground of simple trees. Behind the mountains are the iconic, majestic clouds that are so common in Pierneef's work.
